Inspired by the clever and witty haiku included by my sisters-in-law in my husband's birthday card, I decided to make haiku the basis for a blog. This idea certainly isn't original, as my former co-worker and his brothers started a haiku blog way back in 2002. I fully admit that my poetic prowess is minimal at best, so I'm just hoping to have some fun trying to come up with short snippets that sum up my day. This way, I have less to write, and you can devote your time to reading many more interesting blogs like these.

Ha ha, yes, throwing turkeys is fun! Wonder what they'll have for Christmas...
Hmm... reindeer, maybe? :) I'm sure there will be snowballs to throw for the winter. :)
